Didn’t have time to make something fresh for this week so I pulled out this rainy day illustration of my spin on Captain Nemo. The book doesn’t include the bald, but I just think it works.

Today is the last Sunday of Advent. The most important holidays for a Christian are Christmas and Easter. This is my attempt to capture an idea that eluded me.

This week’s post is an illustration that I did for my cousin Derek V. Trout. He wrote a fantasy novel about a boy who ends up discovering by way of magical portal that he’s an elfin prince. He asked me to do a fantasy cover and this is what I came up with.
DoodleHoose Too took a run at it as well and I like his minimalist approach better.
