The new year brings with it a new feature of Doodlehoose! Introducing Hoose du Jour. It’s the one panel comic that comes and goes at will because if you don’t start something there won’t be something.
2013 in review- Look what we did

Rishon Rune
This week’s post is an illustration that I did for my cousin Derek V. Trout. He wrote a fantasy novel about a boy who ends up discovering by way of magical portal that he’s an elfin prince. He asked me to do a fantasy cover and this is what I came up with.

The Dark Knight… ish
So, everything I tried lately has come out… blah. Last night I drew some blah to prepare for today, so that I’d have something to post this week. I missed last week. So I set the blah on the scanner and the scanner rejected it… time and again.
So, I built something on the computer, that way I wouldn’t have to scan it… it’s sorta blah… but it’s Bat-blah and even Bat-blah is better than nothing.
Your nonsense makes Batman angry.
