Another minimalist hero.
With great power comes, something, something.
This week’s post is an illustration that I did for my cousin Derek V. Trout. He wrote a fantasy novel about a boy who ends up discovering by way of magical portal that he’s an elfin prince. He asked me to do a fantasy cover and this is what I came up with.
DoodleHoose Too took a run at it as well and I like his minimalist approach better.

So, everything I tried lately has come out… blah. Last night I drew some blah to prepare for today, so that I’d have something to post this week. I missed last week. So I set the blah on the scanner and the scanner rejected it… time and again.
So, I built something on the computer, that way I wouldn’t have to scan it… it’s sorta blah… but it’s Bat-blah and even Bat-blah is better than nothing.

This week’s post is half of a drawing that I am trying to get together for a Project Rooftop redesign of the Middleman. If I don’t get the other half done than I am submitting this alone just for fun. The deadline is the 4th so I have to hurry.
