Being sick stinks. I slept most of the weekend, but did get a little time in to do an illustration. My boys wanted to be in on it so they are the ninjas. My wife suggested that they may be symbolic of the virus attacking me. Either way it’s nap time now. Ugh.

An illustration for a story I wrote, to prove to a cousin of mine that I can write a happy story. Now, how could this illustration not accompany a happy story, tell me that?
Westen ala Bamboo
Okay so it’s still Monday. I haven’t reconnected my scanner yet so this week’s post is a painting of a drawing I already had scanned. I took the sketch below and used my bamboo to paint it. My reference is at the bottom, but no tracing of the photo (just stealing colors).

This is the beginning of a game that I’m designing that I’m calling Super Town. I might change the name to Super City, but I’m still not sure about that.
As you can see by the map Super Town is prone to supers because they put housing projects next to the nuclear power plant and the high school next to a Genetics Lab.
To play you get a character card and then power up and create your own name and origin story. There will be different scenarios like, “Save the City” or “Abduct the Mayor” depending on your Evil/Good quotient.
