Skottie Inspires
Spotlight’s on me, I’m Batman.
Forecast says 100% chance of awesome
Today’s marker renderings were inspired by Skottie Young. I have a huge folder of inspirations and I put the Skottie Young folder on a slide show so that I could get the gist without directly copying any one. Hope you like them.
Middle Aged Stream of Consciousness flowing through the Uncanny Valley
This week is the opposite of a planned clean computer generated image. Just drew and let it be what it was. The only computer interaction was scanning it.
Dressed to the Nines
“I’m gonna flatten these X-Clowns by sittin’ on ’em!”
“Is this little display meant to insinuate that you’re gonna throw me off the roof? Because it’s really not your style, Rogers.”
I do not know where the phrase dressed to the nines came from, but I wonder if it has any relation to three sheets to the wind. Here’s all the nines and that makes a full Euchre deck. I wanted to do 52 but just couldn’t sustain my attention span. I will be making a sheet with all of them for those of you who want to make your own bootleg cards.
I like the idea of Blob sitting on things and then Sitwell below him. Jasper Sitwell sounds more like an ergonomic chair than a super villain, but Hydra is more about loyalty than style.
Here are all the nines together.
Nine Times the Fun!
Wild Card Wednesday brings you the Falcon!
“Don’t look at me. I do what he does. Just slower.”
The nines aren’t finished yet but only two are left now and you can play Euchre.

“…if you cause enough trouble, people will willingly give up their freedom for a more secure world”
Here’s the fourth ten and yes that was fun to say. It’s Arnim Zola from Winter soldier. He’s had many incarnations in the Marvel universe (including one that I think made guest appearances in the original TMNT cartoon), but this one is a Matrixy bunch of code on magnetic tape. Even though it’s not a head in a jar I still can’t help thinking about the episode of Futurama “A Head in the Polls.” I can just picture Arnim shaking his digital jowels and saying, “You won’t have this nazi egghead to kick around anymore.”
Oh and here’s all the tens together
