What are you staring at buttheads?
These are the ladies from my now completed story. It’s still getting its edit and it’ll probably need a bit of rework and some small touchup… but the story is out there and a few have already read it. It’s getting some good reviews, which is nice.

I just noticed that Jack Bauer is probably a nod to Euchre. I feel a little slow on that one. I also feel a little slow on my Jack Bowers. I only have two right now, but I’m working on number three so I’ll get them up soon. Enjoy.

A few more of the characters from the story I’m working on. I’ve finished the write, now it’s time to let it simmer, have a quick edit, then do some rewrite. The ladies above play a pretty big part in the story.
“What do you remember about Tahiti?”
This one took some time. I’ve been using the recent cinematic Marvel Universe for Shield and Hydra while using the classic comics for the X-Men. It’s meant to be a contrast and it works on what I know (I collected X-Men, but never really paid attention to Shield). I couldn’t think of a Queen of Hydra from the movies so I pulled Raina from the T.V. series. I had fun making the model, but I must say that the ladies are much more chunky looking than the guys (my apologies to Scarlett and Ruth).

I had to give Raina a glow because she blended into the background too much.
You can take our lives, but you can’t take… hey, you took our clothes!
Now this is way more male nakedness then you’ll usually see (read, ever see) on doodlehoose, but it does go along with the story I’m working on. Also, a reminder, my art style doesn’t really match the stories tone, but this illustration is funny either way.

Okay so I was only able to get one of the dark queens this week and it’s Scarlet Witch. Did you know she was one of the original Brotherhood of Evil Mutants? I didn’t, but now you do (and knowing is half the battle).
Now, we didn’t really tie the hands back there for this fight, in particular… but now that they’re there.
These two are for a story I’m working on. The drawings don’t fit the tone of the story, my style isn’t very gritty and the story is a little gritty. It’s a fun drawing though. Plus, dog!
