B Team – Aze-tech

Hoose Too was supposed to do E vs F for today and is still planning to at some point, but didn’t get it done for today.  So instead here’s another 36.5 Supers B Team Member.

Bow before me, fleshy human.

ABC vs.

Ants attack! My sandwich- Waaaaah! Ant Man for the win

Ants attack!
My sandwich- Waaaaah!
Ant Man for the win

Today brings us a new series. The ABC vs. of the Marvel Universe. Starting out with Ant Man vs. The Blob. I think it would be cool to have a The attached to my name, but I am doing my best to avoid any other resemblance to The Blob.

These were done on two blank index cards using traditional media. I want to get practiced up and get some portfolio pieces to send in and try to get an illustration job for artist’s cards (or if you want to buy some…). The only thing added digitally was the letters and I think I’ll try to incorporate them into the drawings next time.

Hope you enjoy. Also be looking out for who draws what because Doodlehoose Too and I may not keep to the same posting schedule. We will definitely be posting on our regular Monday (that’s me) and Friday (that’s my brother), but there will be extras posted here and there so keep coming back and enjoy.

The Creators- 36.5 Supers Prequel

Why does this have to be so form fitting? I told them no capes. Didn't that pay attention to Invincibles?

Why does this have to be so form fitting?
I told them no capes. Didn’t they pay any attention to The Incredibles?

I figure that if George Lucas can make a prequel so can we. These two supers came before all the others. They are (drum roll) The Creators! Blessed with a little bit of humor and some drawing skills these two are brothers that some claim are twins separated at birth by five years.

Also we made a new gallery page with all of the supers together so make sure you check that out.

Super B – The Backups

Our 36.5 Supers have been posted and are online for your enjoyment, but there are a couple of straglers – a B Team so to speak – who just didn’t get done in time to make the first cut.  A few of them will be making an appearance in the next couple of weeks.

Shouldn't he have feathers?

Shouldn’t he have feathers?

Baby D is the product of human/dino species splicing… accidental human/dino species splicing… turns out it’s really easy to mix the two.  You’d think it would be difficult, but nope.

Once you get a hold of some dino DNA – that’s the only hard part – it just a matter of one mislabeled specimen cup and your day job as a fertility expert getting in the way of your dream of becoming the first person every to clone a dinosaur, and BLAMO… you’ve got an dino human hybrid, and as it turns out it’s REALLY strong!

Super 35- Copious Maximus

Oh please. You call yourself a survivor? Caesar would have seen through that lie in a moment.

Oh please. You call yourself a survivor? Caesar would have seen through that lie in a moment.

Copious Maximus was born to a pair of successful hedonists. He rose through the ranks of Imperial Rome to command a legion and was sent on a quest to find the fountain of youth. Copious succeeded in finding the fountain, but instead of returning it to Rome he ate it.

Granted immortality, immunity to injury or disease and the vitality of youth Copious has dedicated his life to enjoying himself as much as he can. He loves reality television, and long term investments.

Super 34- Alura

Victorian Mermaid

Sophisticated and intelligent Alura saw Victorian London and wanted to be part of that world. Without a sea witch in the vicinity to give her legs she took matters into her own webs. Using her singing talents and personal charms Alura convinced a ship builder to find the parts that she needed to assemble an amphibious machine. She sang him the steps to build it as a way that they could be together. He was more than happy to oblige and was absolutely giddy when she opened the hatch so that he could give her a kiss.

Well it turns out the device is also capable of allowing a citizen of the sea to walk on land. Unfortunately it only has the capacity for one occupant.

Alura made quite a splash in Victorian society and was fiercely sought after to sing in all the most popular salons.

Super 33- Not Yeti

Not Yeti

NOOOOOOOT YEEEEEET!

Great great great great grandson of Charles Darwin, Chuck was known for his level head and flexibility. He was voted by his classmates as, “Most Likely To Adapt” both in high school and college. As a zen master of the moment Chuck was unperturbed when his families flight to Alaska from Alabama was canceled, nor when the FDA shut down flights for two days. He was unruffled when the RV rental was snatched out from under him and his family of six hopped into a barely big enough sedan with their luggage in tow. He didn’t fret when they lost the roof pod in Ohio, nor did he worry when the car sick kids filled up the back seat with what once was cotton candy- that’s what car washes are for.

Chuck was relaxed when the Canadian Border patrol required a strip search and scolded him for the burdock that he had accidentally carried with him in his sock. It wasn’t any of those things that finally brought Chuck to the point of no return. In fact family members and witnesses believe the moment came when entering the Northwest Territories a tree fell on the hood of the car and the children managed to ask, “Are we there yet?” the six millionth time.

Chuck is often seen by loggers and very rarely by a tourist (who goes to the Northwest Territories to tour?) running through the forests of Canada screaming, “Not Yet!” His rare
