It’s said that if one can capture a Wish Deer, alive, they’ll be granted endless wishes… as long as the animal remains alive, well nourished, and you can keep others from taking it.

Wishes can be dangerous.
Wouldn’t it suck to have a deer that grants wishes but feeds on your dreams…
That’s dark.
Once it’s eaten all your dreams and granted all your wishes it wanders off to join the other metaphors for corrupting wealth.
It’s worthy of a story to be sure.
