This week is the opposite of a planned clean computer generated image. Just drew and let it be what it was. The only computer interaction was scanning it.

I do not know where the phrase dressed to the nines came from, but I wonder if it has any relation to three sheets to the wind. Here’s all the nines and that makes a full Euchre deck. I wanted to do 52 but just couldn’t sustain my attention span. I will be making a sheet with all of them for those of you who want to make your own bootleg cards.
I like the idea of Blob sitting on things and then Sitwell below him. Jasper Sitwell sounds more like an ergonomic chair than a super villain, but Hydra is more about loyalty than style.

Here’s the fourth ten and yes that was fun to say. It’s Arnim Zola from Winter soldier. He’s had many incarnations in the Marvel universe (including one that I think made guest appearances in the original TMNT cartoon), but this one is a Matrixy bunch of code on magnetic tape. Even though it’s not a head in a jar I still can’t help thinking about the episode of Futurama “A Head in the Polls.” I can just picture Arnim shaking his digital jowels and saying, “You won’t have this nazi egghead to kick around anymore.”

We’re almost to a full Euchre deck with our third of four Tens (just one more ten and three nines to go). Quicksilver is a slippery fellow that started out as a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants but has since then changed teams and sides as fast as his namesake. I only really followed him when he crossed over into Uncanny Xmen so I have to admit that I had to use Google to help me get his quote. Enjoy
