I am Tired
Went to NYC Comic Con this weekend. It was fun, but boy am I tired (and my wallet is empty). This is a sketch made with pen of me sporting my SWAG (Groot hat included).

This week I was stuck so I used a photo that I took at Comic Con last year to start a digital painting. I took the photo of a sculpture so that it’s my composition. Then I started tracing it with brushes and the wacom tablet on a separate layer in Photoshop. When I got to a point where I liked what was going on I turned off the original pic and started to ad lib. Added fire and played with a bunch of filters till I got the images above. My youngest liked the blue version so I did that and the red one. The pic below is my original digital shot.
