I made these after starting a cut paper project with my students. Then I found out that notan is a Japanese art that focuses on dark and light shapes-inadvertent tie in!

I’d set out to do a sketch of Strider… I did not arrive at my destination… not even sure if I’m in the same general region… what’s up with that hair???
