This is a sketch I did while watching an episode of the original Star Trek. I gave Uhura the blaster and I think she should have had one more often.
Took a swipe at coloring it.

Didn’t Gene want to get away from blasters and more towards scientific and social progress? Still, blasters are pretty cool.
Gene did, but was he the one putting his butt on the line against agressive alien entities? I think he might have a different opinion staring down the barrel of a klingon particle weapon!
